Procurement Framework 2016 - Benefits, Status of Roll-out and M&E Arrangements

Enzo De Laurentiis has taken over the position of Chief Procurement Officer of the World Bank on April 1, 2017.

In this conversation, Enzo reflects on the new Procurement Framework applicable to all IPF (Investment Project Financing) effective July 2016. He discusses the benefits for borrowers from adopting the new Framework, and the status of implementation. He further elaborates World Bank’s plans for monitoring the progress and measuring the impact of newly introduced features of the framework. In this video, Enzo De Laurentiis also shares how this initiative of the Bank is received and adapted by a large number of multilateral agencies and borrowing Governments.
